Going Green
The Fracht Group is consistently improving its environmental footprint.
While the head office in Switzerland has achieved completely carbon neutral status in 2012, we are very proud that Fracht Adelaide installed solar panels back in 2011 already.
Fracht Sydney (head office of Fracht Australia and bonded warehouse in Botany) installed a 70kW Solar system in early 2014 (producing almost 100MWh/year, which results in a reduction of approx. 108 tonnes / year of carbon emissions). This installation coincided with adoption of LED lighting throughout the facility.
As part our responsibilities towards our ISO 14001 (Environmental Standards), Fracht Australia has now also converted the lighting in our 3400 m2 Logistics Center in Padstow to energy efficient LED lights with 30,000 hours life time.
This saves energy and also maintenance costs.
